Day 1 | Arrival

If you are arriving by plane or train and don't have a rental car, you can have Mario pick you up at the airport. You can then move into your accommodation and settle in at your leisure.

Day 2 | Get to know the husky pack

Today you will get to know the dog pack and the individual characters. You will first be involved in caring for the dogs. Afterwards, individual dogs will be selected for you to go on a short hike with. Afterwards, you'll have plenty of time to cuddle the dogs around a small campfire with drinks and snacks.

Day 3 | With the dog sled through the woods

On this day, 2 people can take part in sled dog training at a time. The sled dog team is prepared and then it's off into the snowy forest on the trails through the wilderness.

Day 4 | Dog sledding through the woods

Sled training is also on the program on this day, the procedure is the same as on day 3.

Day 5 | Guided snowmobile tour

On day 5 it gets a little louder, the snowmobile tour with campfire and barbecue awaits you. We will go on a snowmobile tour lasting approx. 3.5 hours.

Day 6 | Cuddling the huskies again to say goodbye

At the end of the day, there is time to cuddle the dogs again. Drinks and snacks are prepared for two- and four-legged friends.

Day 6 | Departure

With many new impressions you will travel back and if necessary Mario will drive you to the airport or train station in Skellefteå.

You will be accommodated in the lovingly renovated vacation home of our neighbors Steffi & Lars.

The vacation home is only a 5-minute walk from us.

The vacation home has been completely renovated and is very comfortably furnished in Swedish style.

A Swedish stove provides cozy warmth for the cold winter days.

It has a kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. An absolute highlight in winter is the heated hot tub.

Steffi & Lars are super nice hosts and you will certainly want for nothing.

Catering is not included in the price and must be organized by yourself.

We will be happy to drive you to the nearest supermarket in Malå if you don't have a rental car and you can stock up on food for the week there. There is a small store in the neighboring village of Kristineberg, where you can also get everything you need for your daily needs.

And if you want to eat out, there are plenty of restaurants in Malå or Lycksele that have something for everyone.

For an extra charge, we can also prepare a delicious firepot over an open fire in our barbecue hut.

Depending on the weather conditions, the program items must be adapted. It should be a safe experience for two and four-legged friends and you should be able to enjoy it!

Travel cancellation insurance

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance well in advance of your trip so that you will be reimbursed the travel price in the event of cancellation. This not only makes things easier for you, but also for us.

The arrival and departure day is always Saturday and Friday.

By plane

If you arrive by plane, we will pick you up at the airport in Skellefteå or in Lycksele. On the day of departure, we will bring you back there. This is included in the total price and there are no additional costs.

By car / motorhome

It is generally possible to arrive by car. Parking spaces are available. The roads are generally very well cleared, but you should make sure that your vehicle is absolutely winter-proof.

By train or bus

If you are traveling by train or bus, we will pick you up from the nearest train or bus station. For us, this is Lycksele.

We recommend the following clothing:

Long thermal underwear made of wool

Thick knee-high socks made of wool

Warm wool hat

Thermal trousers, e.g. made from fleece

Thinner gloves made from wool

Thick winter gloves or mittens

Thick wool sweater or fleece sweater

Thick winter jacket

Possibly a fleece hoodie or hooded jacket

A thin down jacket or jacket with synthetic fibers

A thin buff or face covering made of wool

Sunglasses if necessary

No cotton

Do not use cotton for socks and thermal underwear, as it does not protect as well against the Arctic cold and you will freeze much faster in it.

1.499 EUR per family

The price includes accommodation in the vacation apartment and the services described in the "Procedure" section.

Payment terms

Upon receipt of the invoice, 20% of the total price must be paid immediately. The remaining 80% of the total price must be paid no later than 60 days before arrival. If the tour is booked less than 60 days before the tour date, payment of the total price must be made immediately upon receipt of the invoice

Payment

All payments must be made to us by bank transfer or PayPal. The bank and PayPal details will be communicated with the invoice. Cash payment on site is not possible

No fear of the dogs

You will come into direct contact with our sled dogs, who may even jump on you.

Nature lovers

You will spend about 3 hours a day outside with the dogs in nature and, depending on the season, temperatures can drop to -25°C in winter. You should therefore enjoy being outside in nature.
